A two-part program presented by the New Earth Histories Research Program, UNSW, and Professor Pratik Chakrabarti, Collaborating Scholar of the Research Centre. Pratik Chakrabarti’s lecture (14 July) will be followed on Wednesday (15 July) by a roundtable to discuss the whiteness of deep history, the characteristics of European naturalism, and the enchantment and disenchantment of the natural world. The discussants on the roundtable include Professor Lynette Russell, Deputy Chair of the Advisory Committee, Professor Ann McGrath, Director, and Dr Ben Silverstein.
